Description
The film opens at sea with the cinematographer recording the mountains of Laconia from the deck of the ship. Passing the cape Malea, we see a close up view of the church of Saint Georgios and then the strong waves of the sea in the Myrtoon Sea from a porthole of the ship.

Reaching Kythira, we are probably in the settlement of Areoi village and maybe the cinematographer gives us shots from the traditional village of Mylopotamos with the bell tower of Saint Charalambos rising proudly. Afterwards, the cinematographer moves by car on a dirt road, taking shots from the route to Mylopotamos and from the entrance of the village with the picturesque stone houses.

Then, distant views in Kato Chora with the ruins of the Venetian castle that is located near Mylopotamos.

The film closes with views from the daily life of the residents, probably in Chora, where we watch the the mansions' architectural marriage of traditional elements from the Aegean with the Venetian style.
