Description
Kefalonia (Cephalonia), or formerly also known as Kefallinia, is an island in the Ionian Sea and the sixth largest island in Greece.

The first view of the film is a large flock of sheep that crosses the community of Omalos of the homonymous plateau, where is the Monastery of Saint Gerasimos, the patron saint of the island, in which the relics of the Saint are preserved.

We see tourist buses, visitors, the lush vegetation of the area as we are in the courtyard of the Monastery, outside the Holy Church of Saint Gerasimos alongside a crowd of pilgrims.

This Monastery is the most important religious monument of the island.
