Description
We are at the old International Elliniko Airport of Athens and specifically in the parking lot where the filmmaker gives us views of the daily mobility of the airport.

We watch parked planes, departing passengers and small buses that carry the luggage from the parking lot to the terminal and the other way around. Travellers pass an Olympic Airways Douglas DC-3 as a plane crosses the skies and Olympic flight attendants, in the-then-haute couture uniforms, designed by Jean Desses, pass by a Dacota of civil aviation.

Afterwards, the lens follows the passengers as they board on a Douglas DC-6B. The lens captures the Dacota again and continues on one of the engines of the Douglas DC-6B type Twin Wasp -CB16, to end up at its wings.

The DC-C8 propellers swirl and the plane heads to the runway as it passes the terminal. We see an Olympic Airways Douglas DC-3, a TWA Boeing 707, a Convair and perhaps an Olympic De Havilland Comet 4B stranded next to a hangar.

As the plane takes off, the lens focuses on the ground moving behind the engine of the Douglas DC-6B and then the filmmaker records his pleasant flight, the good service inside the airplane and his smooth landing at the airport of Crete in the summer of 1964.
