Description
The Isthmus of Corinth is the narrow piece of land which connects the Peloponnese peninsula with the rest of the mainland of Greece, while the canal that has been opened in it connects the Saronic Gulf with the Gulf of Corinth. The place was always ideal for a stop, for travelers who are heading to the Peloponnese or returning from it, in order to drink or eat something before they continue their journey. So we watch the filmmaker and his friends that are being served coffee, while in the background we can see the main road and the sign of the bar that says “Isthmus".

The camera records the canal and the movement of the vehicles on the National Road. Then a panoramic, imposing view of the sea lane that imposed the construction of the canal.

Afterwards, we see a kiosk that sells souvenirs, an advertising sign of the film production company "Agfa" in the background and a shop that says "Souvlakia" on its glass front, a very popular snack for tourists and a snack that has been developed for decades in the area.

A woman sells decorative small cobs.

The filmmaker and his friends are boarding on the car, clearly in a good mood.
