Description
In this film we watch a group of children playing in a playground in Galatsi, Athens.
The children are divided into two rival groups, which, by their distinctive paper hats, are identified as Greeks and Germans in World War II. This is the typical "war" game in which they use fake or improvised weapons and the fenced playground as a base.

Creator's description

In late 1966, shortly before the dictatorship was imposed, in the Galatsi Community, two groups of children were claiming exclusive use of an outdoor playground and were in an almost ... war situation! Let's say something like a local "West Side Story" or "Forbidden Games" (Jeux interdits), movies that were very popular at the time. All the kids were delighted to film their "free time" and make the final showdown during the shooting. Today, in their sixties or more, they passionately show a copy of the film to their children and grandchildren, and they fondly remember their carefree childhood years.
