Description
Philemonos Square is located two blocks below the northeastern part of the Mount Lycabettus ring road, in the center of Athens.

The one street that touches the square is named after Timoleon Philemonos, a Greek journalist, politician and intellectual who also served as Mayor of Athens in 1887.

The filmmaker gives us shots from the square, the rich variety of many shade trees and flowering shrubs, the passers-by or people who sit on benches and panoramic views of the whole square with the stone fence and railings as well as the surrounding buildings.

The yellowed leaves of the-mainly-mulberry trees testify that the filming took place in autumn.
