Description
Spetses is an island in the Saronic Gulf, in Greece.

We are in the port of Spetses, on the main pier where the travelers disembark and others board on the hydrofoil "Express", owned by Stavros Niarchos. The "Express" was the first hydrofoil in Greece. A man on a donkey crosses the road next to the parish church of Saint Antonios, in the area of Dapia.

Then, the filmmaker records the streets and the houses of the area, on some sidewalks we see mosaics of exceptional style that have been made with round colored pebbles.

We see a general view of the port, small and large boats that are moored, the sign of the "Akropolis" hotel and a panoramic shot of Dapia with the traditional cafes and patisseries, but also the cannons, as during the period of the Greek Revolution of 1821, the area housed the island’s artillery battery.

In the background, we see the pier, the island’s port authority and the old hotel "Great Britain".
