Description
We are in the village of Apeiranthos, a village in mountainous Naxos. It is 28 km away from the island’s capital town and is built at an altitude of between 570 and 640 meters.

The film opens with views of the village. Afterwards, we see a parked car and the Venetian, stone-built, two-story tower of Zevgolis.

The village has been declared since 1978 as a traditional settlement. The settlement still retains its Venetian architecture, with narrow cobbled streets which have arches.

It is worth mentioning that it is the village of Manolis Glezos and on his own initiative was founded in 1964 the library dedicated to Nikos N. Glezos who was executed by the Nazis on 10 May 1944. The library is probably the largest in the Cyclades.
