Description
We are in Ammoudia, a village in the prefecture of Preveza. The village of Ammoudia is located at the estuary of the river Acheron, known for transporting the dead to the kingdom of Hades.

Acheron, about 50 kilometers long, is a river in the region of Epirus. Administratively it belongs to the Parga Municipality in the Prefecture of Preveza and flows into the waters of the Ionian Sea.

The film opens with shots from inside the car, of the road and the beach. Then we see the banks of the river with the Ionian Sea in the opposite direction and a woman who walks towards them.

The filmmaker shows us a panoramic shot of the river and the woman who stands on one side and admires the landscape. A man walks along the beach and then we see a boat full of people who take a tour of the river. The lens makes a close up shot of the river and we see the reeds and some frogs playing.

It is worth mentioning that the Acheron River Delta in the Ionian Sea is included in the European network of protected areas Natura 2000, hosting dozens of species of flora and fauna.

The film closes with footage of local cattle walking or standing-perhaps-for water upstream from where the filmmaker is.
