Description
Vilia (formerly known as Eidilia) is a town in West Attica, built on the slope of Mount Kithairon, at an altitude of 600 meters, on the border of Attika and Boeotia.

On a day of celebration, as shown by the presence of the musicians with guitar, violin and accordion, but also the procession of the residents, the filmmaker visited Vilia, who ends up with his company in a local tavern.

Members of the company order to the grill-cook while the rest sit at a table overlooking the entire town. In the background, we can see the church of the Transfiguration of the Savior or "Agia Sotira", which was designed by the German architect Ernst Ziller.

After the meal, the group of friends walks in the town’s streets and the filmmaker gives us shots of the houses as we see three saddled horses.

We see panoramic shots of the town as we stop at an outdoor grill with lambs and a pig on a spit. The excursion continues.
