Description
We are in Nairobi, the capital and largest city of Kenya.

The film opens with footage from the moving car. We see the green lush landscape as well as the driver. The car arrives at Bomas of Kenya, a tourist village in Langata, Nairobi. Bomas of Kenya is home to one of largest auditorium in Africa and it is located approximately 10km away from the Central Business District. The repertoire consists of over 50 dances from different ethnic communities.

The view changes with shots from the amphitheater and the dance performance. The Bomas Harambee Dancers are the country’s national dance company par excellence, proudly representing the beauty and diversity of Kenya’s music and dance traditions since 1973 with live percussion, string and wind instruments as well as diverse, authentic and energetic dancing. We see scenes from the dance show while the filmmaker briefly shows us his friends.
