Description
We are in Kalamata, a city of southwestern Peloponnese, capital of the Prefecture of Messinia and port of southern mainland Greece.

The film opens with a house with the Greek flag due to the holiday of March 25th. A double national holiday for Greece since it is the Celebration of the Greek Revolution of 1821 and the Annunciation of the Virgin. We see shots of the parade with the band marching as we notice the crowd that has gathered on both sides of the road to watch it. The lens focuses on the musicians and then shows us a group of officials who march holding flags.

The filmmaker shows a group of friends on a balcony who watch the event while talking and gets back to the parade. We see school groups, soldiers and a group of women who are dressed in traditional costumes. The camera stands briefly on the girls and continues with a small group of men who are traditionally dressed.

The film closes with the navy band and its soldiers marching as well as a smaller group of scouts.
