Description
The action takes place in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, a city with two faces: the bustling, noisy, crowded, native quarters or City Side and the quiet, orderly Civil Lines, with residential bungalows in large compounds full of trees and flowers.
We see aspects of life in both parts of the city, then we take our places to witness the great Hindu festival of Dussehra. Finally we attend a Music Conference and see excerpts from performances by Manna Dey, Kumud Chugani and Gopi Krishna.
