We are in the largest city of the Peloponnese and the capital of Achaia: Patras. The pier is a landmark of the city and used to be the favourite place for walking during both winter and summer.

Views with large ships and boats and a lighthouse in the background. Fishing boats whose owners do various jobs. Three ladies are watching children who are fishing and we see in the hand of one of them a small fish. View of the city with a lot of people walking in its streets in the background. The three ladies, taking a walk in the pier, greet us.

At the end, the plaster craft industry of Paschalis A. Demartinos can be seen.

The film was shot by A. G. Bonar during his tour of the Peloponnese in July 1966.
