Creator's description

On the way back to Banaue there’s a place from where you can get a superb view of the rice terraces. These were built at least 2000 years ago, by the way, and are very extensive –someone has calculated that if they were placed end to end they would stretch right round the earth.

For a few pesos some elderly Ifugao men and women, dressed in all their finery, will do a tribal dance for you. Don’t feel shy about how much to give them because they will tell you.

Ever seen anything quite like that before? I haven’t.
