Description
We are at the Bonar Rubinstein Memorial panorama where the famous pianist was buried at his request and at the top of the hill is the monument of John F. Kennedy (Yad Kennedy in Hebrew).

We watch the round structure of the monument, which consists of 51 concrete columns and is shaped like the stump of a felled tree.

The emblematic design symbolises the short life of the then American President.

Each column also represent one for each of the 50 states in the United States plus one for Washington, D.C., that nation's capital. Inside, an eternal flame is burning in the center.

We are transported to the World Holocaust Remembrance Center (Yad Vashem) and specifically to the Hall of Remembrance. The monument is located on Mount Herzl and was founded in 1953, emphasising the horror and the brutality that the Jews experienced by the Nazi Germany. Footage from the sculptural decoration on the facade of the building as well as from an outdoor sculpture that represents the mass burial of the victims.

The film ends with a close-up view in the memory room and the outbuilding column.
