Description
Paphos is a coastal city in southwest Cyprus and is the capital of Paphos District.

The filmmaker takes a walk in the city.

In our first view, we see a crowded flea market, then a road with passers-by and female students who wear the traditional blue school uniform, cars, some more passers-by and tourists, a square with tables and the patrons of a traditional coffee house that are across a public building with the Cypriot flag.

In the next view, a man who rolls his motorbike and a banner that says "VOTE FOR CONSEQUENCE - VOTE FOR EDEK" which informs us that elections would be coming, at that time in Cyprus.

Then a general, panoramic shot shows us part of the blooming nature in the city, in a building an old Coca Cola sign and in the end views from a complex of newly built houses.

Creator's description

Oranges, apples, vegetables –they’re all here. But thank you –another time.
Let’s look at some of the people in the street.

Fancy retiring to Cyprus, like that British fellow with the white whiskers we saw just now in Paphos? If so, you might get a house like one of these. Large numbers of beautifully designed houses like these are being put up in various places along the coast.
