Description
Through the windshield, the filmmaker records passing cars on the narrow road, the slopes of Mount Debed, Armenian carved crosses (khachkar) and through the dense vegetation we see the medieval church of the Mother of God. We see the facade of the church and shots of the walnut tree that accompanies the monastery for at least seven centuries.

The Haghartsin Monastery dates from the 10th century to the 13th century and is located near the town of Dilijan in Tavush province of Armenia.

The Haghartsin Monastery complex has three churches: the Church of the Holy Mother of God, St. Gregory and St. Stephen.
