Description
Corfu is a Greek island in the Ionian Sea. The island's transport to mainland Greece is by boat.
The film begins with views at the port of the island where vehicles enter the ferry boat "IGOUMENITSA" and as the camera zooms out, we have the opportunity to see some old mansions.
The ship departs and we see the Old Venetian Fortress, a few anchored fishing boats, some multi-story mansions, a carriage, a "POTAMIANOS LINES" sign and a panoramic view of the entire coastal road with the magnificent buildings. A view of another ship which is heading to the island.
Approaching the main port of Western Greece, in the city of Igoumenitsa, we can see the towering mountains of Epirus, which surround the city.
